Australian regulator seizes illegal peptides allegedly sold by a social media influencer

The TGA and NSW Police executed search warrants at two New South Wales homes on August 4, 2026, seizing more than 120,000 Australian dollars of illicit peptide and anabolic steroid products, including retatrutide, CJC-1295 and a BPC-157 and TB-500 blend. The influencer allegedly imported and relabeled the products and sold them through social media and a website despite a prior TGA warning. The TGA had made unapproved peptides a compliance priority in June 2026.
