Retatrutide TRIUMPH-1: 28.3% average weight loss at 80 weeks on highest dose

In Eli Lilly's pivotal phase 3 TRIUMPH-1 trial of 2,339 adults with obesity, once-weekly retatrutide produced average weight loss of 19.0% on 4 mg, 25.9% on 9 mg and 28.3% on 12 mg at 80 weeks, versus 2.2% on placebo. Among 532 participants with a BMI of 35 or more who continued to 104 weeks, those on 12 mg lost 30.3% on average. Discontinuation due to adverse events was 11.3% on 12 mg versus 4.9% on placebo.
